Finland’s leading swimming pool in the capital, Mäkelänrinne Swimming Pool, wanted to provide its instructors and customers with the best possible water exercise experience. The system had to be user-friendly and functional even in the humid conditions of the swimming pool. Due to the humidity, the audio equipment could not be placed on the poolside.
The sound control center was built far from the pool facilities and appropriate components were sought to control them. With the right components, a wrist-mounted remote control was implemented that allowed the instructor to adjust the microphone volume and control music while the devices are safe from moisture at all times. At the same time, a whole new sound system was built.
These solutions enabled significantly better equipment durability and promoted the well-being of instructors at work.
